Where to sleep (districts and accomodations)

Traditional hotels are not numerous in Naples.

The historical ones are particularly concentrated along the seafront: they are beautiful, elegant but often not corresponding to their category standards.

Not far from the seafront and very well positioned there are Mediterraneo Renaissance and the ecleptic Romeo Hotel, while on the hills, but very well connected with the city centre, there are the very good Parker’s and S. Francesco al Monte located in an old monastery.

The best offer is anyway represented by apartments and B&B: spread everywhere in town and, in most of the cases, very cozy and stylish furnished.

Good, although not numerous, the presence of hostels.

Central Railway Station and surroundings

Historical hotels, lot of choice and good occasions. Although the quality of the area has improved, at night it can be isolated and not always well frequented.

Old Town

Central, comfortable, sometimes chaotic, with a lot of choice about food, handicraft, art. Very busy between November and January.

Spanish Quarters

One of the most lively areas af the town, especially in these last years, what can be as well  a disadvantage to fall easily asleep!

Toledo/Chiaia

Many options in old beautiful noble buildings not always expensive.

Vomero Hill

A brand new option in town. Vomero hill is pleasant, full of shops, restaurant, some of the most historical English pubs in town and it is verywell connected with the city centre
